Trafficlip brings automation to traffic reporting and smart alert.

Motivated by Etisalats call for Innovation, this version of Trafficlip has been developed into a smarter, interactive and dynamic community traffic reporting app that promises to tackle traffic gridlocks in African cities.

With 'Trafficlip', you can now beat traffic, get ahead of others to Work and drive back home without stress.

Trafficlip is a community app for broadcasting and receiving traffic report. This current version automatically provide contents by tracking the users speed profile and updating to the server. Essentially, users share their locations and speed profiles along their routes in real time. A traffic report of interest may be selected from a list picker drop down list. The user is therefore in the position to take informed decision and avoid traffic jam. This app is a must-have for all road users.

In this version, video clip capture is limited to Safety threat reporting on the road such as accident, road diversion, damaged bridge etc.

Trafficlip has been designed for use in car mode with users safety and convenience at heart

Trafficlip will read your text messages and respond to your calls.

*No many buttons to press.

*Integrating text to speech engine, all reports, notifications are read to the user so he can concentrate on driving.

* The smart alert feature of the app enables users to send emergency notification when in distress. This message will be received immediately by all users of Trafficlip in the vicinity with proximity information, including Road Safety and Police Officers. Accidents and Objects constituting traffic safety threats may be capture and published. Responsible safety and security personnel will be fully and promptly informed to make appropriate intervention plan to help in distress.

* All traffic reports and emergency alerts are with accurate location information and distance away from the user. This new version integrates analyst view (Map mode) which enables a user to see all reported locations with traffic status and time at a glance. This will help the user to determine best route quickly.

Trafficlip is free to use but ad-supported.
