The Spiritual Treasure is a resource traditionally used by Congregations. It consists of a table in which the acts of piety performed during every day of a month are counted. These acts are then added together and offered together by a certain intention, usually the same intention as the General Communion. In addition to allowing the member himself to follow the progress of his spiritual life, the advances and difficulties on this path – this being the main objective of the practice – it also allows the priest director to accompany both the individual and the whole group: At the end of each month, according to the same rules1, the congregation must deliver to the director the treasury sheet that will be used to count and apply, as appropriate, effective remedies for the spiritual benefit of all members.
