This is a viewer of night sky map web site SKY-MAP.org(http://www.sky-map.org/). By connecting Android phones to telescope via Android Device Kit, this app shows stars the telescope observing. Circuit schematic and farm are disclosed at http://bit.ly/rK377W.
This app won Google Developer Day 2011 OpenCallADK finalist.
By using tablet, two screens are available to see sky map. You can use them to see zoom and overall viewing. This app has following functions:
Search location of constellation, Messier and NGC catalog and planets
Show pictures of them(except planets)
Show wikipedia(except NGC catalog)
This app receive huge data from sky-map.org. So I recomend to use WiFi instead of 3G
