With SymptomChecker you can easily and completely anonymously enter your symptoms and get an indication of what they may be signs of – without commercial interests. SymptomChecker is based on Danish authorities' knowledge databases, including sundhed.dk, and artificial intelligence.

How it works:

- Answer relevant questions: SymptomChecker asks follow-up questions to provide a more precise assessment.

Advanced technology and security:

SymptomTjekker is based on updated knowledge from Danish health authorities and recognized health professional sources. It uses information from, among other things, the Danish Medical Handbook, the Danish Patient Handbook, drug information and data from package leaflets via the Danish Medicines Agency's relevant data sources as well as the ICD-11 classification of symptoms. This means that the assessments are based on nationally anchored and validated knowledge.

To ensure quality and relevance, all symptoms and suggestions are continuously cross-checked against authoritative databases and health professional standards. The system has also been developed with a focus on data security and on delivering safe and reliable answers - without commercial influence. SymptomChecker is certified and approved as a medical device in classification-1 (European statutory CE approval). The service is also GDPR-compliant and processes all data anonymously and confidentially.
