QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES is used only to obtain the complete installed-app inventory needed to map package-named folders such as Android/data to their source apps, distinguish active app data from possible uninstall residuals, and label app-associated files in storage analysis. Launcher-only or intent-scoped queries omit apps without matching activities and can make this file attribution incomplete. The package inventory is processed on the device and is not sent to advertising or analytics services.
