Surah Rehman

Surah ar-Rahman, consisting of 78 verses, holds significant spiritual value and is believed to be revealed in Makkah. According to Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.), reciting this Surah after Fajr prayers on Fridays brings immense blessings and helps remove hypocrisy from the heart.

It's said that on the Day of Judgment, Surah ar-Rahman will appear in the form of a handsome human-like figure emitting a pleasant fragrance. Allah will command it to identify those who recited the Surah, granting pardon to those named.

Furthermore, it's mentioned that a person who passes away after reciting this Surah attains the status of a martyr. Writing and keeping Surah ar-Rahman can dispel difficulties, cure eye ailments, and even ward off household pests when inscribed on walls.

Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) once recited Surah ar-Rahman to the Jinn, who responded appreciatively to its verses, emphasizing the importance of reflecting on Allah's bounties. Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud reported the Prophet's words that the adornment of the Qur'an is Surah ar-Rahman.
