Generate and translate subtitles for your videos and audio files directly on your device. SubLocal does not upload your media or subtitle text for processing. AI models are downloaded only when you request them; transcription and translation then work offline.

Extract audio from video and export it as an M4A file, or export subtitles as SRT, ASS, VTT, or TXT. You can optionally keep the source media in the app's private storage, then play and practice individual subtitle lines from History.

How to use:

Media processing, transcription, translation, and practice playback are local. Retained media is optional and stored only in the app's private storage. Model downloads require internet access, but they do not include your media or subtitle content. Files leave the app only when you explicitly share or export them to another destination.
