Studial: Net Study Timer

Stop estimating how much you studied. Studial is a measuring instrument for study time: every 30 seconds it checks that you are really at your desk, and only what passes that check is counted. A stopwatch has to believe you. An instrument checks.

HOW IT MEASURES

Every 30 seconds one interval is judged. In net study mode the front camera takes a brief look to confirm you are at your desk. In focus mode no camera is used at all and only the time your phone was left alone is counted. Each interval gets exactly one verdict - at desk, focus, away, phone, drowsy or not measured - and the session is the sum of them.

JUDGED ON YOUR PHONE, THEN GONE

A camera check is judged on your phone and discarded in the same instant. No video, no image, no body position is ever stored. Only the verdict survives. There is no account and no server, so your records stay on this phone.

WHAT YOU SEE WHEN YOU STOP

Net time out of total time, your net share as a percentage, and a timeline of the session showing exactly where you left and where the phone came up. Not a single number on that screen was typed in by hand.

PLAN THE DAY IN BLOCKS

Lay the day out as time blocks and give each one a subject. A second lane runs beside it, drawn from what was actually measured, so the plan and the reality sit on the same clock. Move a plan and the record stays where it happened.

ROUTINES

A routine is a weekday template. Set it once and your recurring blocks are laid out weeks ahead.

SUBJECTS

Tag a session with a subject, give it a colour, and the share per subject tells you where the hours actually went.
