Strategy Path is a turn-based grand strategy game where you lead one of many nations, guide it through different eras, and decide for yourself whether it will become an empire, a scientific superpower, or a political player controlling the world from the shadows.
Choose your politics according to your playstyle. You can become a president, a monarch, or a general secretary.
Recruit, move, and disband armies. Declare war, make peace, sign non-aggression pacts, join alliances, and leave them. Start wars through others, pit your enemies against each other. Other countries may issue various ultimatums to you or unite against you. But you will be ready.
Strategy Path is not only a game about war. You can set weapons aside and win through science! Research technologies unique to each scenario: from early military reforms to nuclear weapons and thermonuclear reactors.
18 political institutions. Build the state you want! In different periods of history, you will have different political institutions to choose from, from democracy to absolute monarchy.
Manage the economy, army, and population through laws. You can restrict trade, encourage population growth, or even start conscripting women into the army. But every decision has consequences, so you will need to think ahead.
Progress through the ages: the game features various historical scenarios with unique countries, technologies, and political institutions:
Turn of the Millennium (1000) — fragmented kingdoms and steppe powers begin their struggle for Eurasia.
Age of the Horde (1279) — Eurasia after the Mongol conquests: old powers are weakened, and new forces fight for control of trade routes.
Turning Point of Eras (1453) — Byzantium has fallen, and the powers of East and West compete for the legacy of empires.
Rise of Empires (1700) — great empires expand, while trade and armies decide the fate of the continent.
World War I (1914) — the world stands on the brink of a great war: empires are arming themselves, alliances are fragile, and any conflict can change the map.
World War II (1936) — you will have to prevail in the largest war in human history.
And if the built-in scenarios are not enough, you can create your own in the scenario editor and customize everything there: from countries to technologies and politics. Play your own scenarios, share them with friends, and compete for the title of the greatest strategist!
