The layout adapts to your screen: on a tablet, the layers panel docks permanently alongside a larger canvas so you can see your tools, your layers, and your art all at once — no digging through menus. Detailed sprites and bigger scenes are far easier to draw with the extra screen room.

DRAW

Pencil, fill bucket, eraser, shape tools, and a gradient tool — all snapped to a precise pixel grid. Pick colors with the eyedropper, lock your palette, or build a custom swatch set to keep every sprite consistent.

ANIMATE

Work frame-by-frame with onion skinning to see your previous pose as you draw the next. Reorder, duplicate, and tag frames to organize walk cycles, idle loops, and attack animations.

TRACE WITH REFERENCE

Import a reference photo or concept image directly into a frame. Nudge and zoom it independently of your canvas to line it up exactly, then trace over it pixel by pixel — the eyedropper even samples color straight from the reference.

ORGANIZE

Multiple layers per frame with visibility, lock, and opacity control. Full undo/redo history so nothing is ever a risk to try.

EXPORT

Save your animation as a GIF or a packed PNG sprite sheet, ready to drop into a game engine. Export a single frame as a transparent PNG for icons and stills.
