This app provides advanced and proven encryption based on the AES-256 encryption. The keys and passwords for the encryption are generated and solely controlled by the user on the device. As a result, they provide much more secured approach than the build-in encryption in the Android operating system (OS). The user can create as many encryption keys and passwords as needed. Also, the user can encrypt the information and data several times (known as cascade encryption) if needed for added security. However, this is unlikely to be needded. This app will encrypt and decrypt folders (after compressing them), files of any format, and messages.

The keys for the build-in encryption in the Android operating system (OS) are soley controlled by the service and product provider. As a result they provide an inferior security for the user. The service and product provider can, at any time, decrypt the user's information and data, and use, analyze, and share them with third parties for business, commercial benefits and other gains without the knowledge or consent of the user. This is a very common practice specially in the US. Also, the back-door method can provide a complete free access to the mobile device without the knowledge or consent of the user. It is estimated that hundreds of millions of users of mobile devices all over the world are been spied on everyday.

This app will not create the usual icon on the device desktop which the user can click on to start and launch the app. This app works with our othe app called SecuredFileManager (not a free app) to provide the necessary encryption and decryption services to the user. Our app SecuredFileManager will start and launch this app when the user clicks on the Encrypt/Decrypt icon. As a result, if the user is seriously interested in using this app, the user should install our app SecuredFileManager on his/her device.
