This is an Android app that simply displays readouts from the various sensors (if they are present). It also displays a few other values, derived from the sensor values (it calculates absolute ambient humidity, etc.)
Here is an explanation of the permissions required to install the app, and why they are needed:
*** Location ***
- precise location (GPS and network-based): Access GPS location data
*** Photos/Media/Files ***
- modify or delete the contents of your USB storage: Save data files and screenshots to your external storage media
- read the contents of your USB storage: Read data files and screenshots from your external storage media
*** Other ***
- control vibration: Does what it says on the tin. Vibrate the device
