Samsung Voice Recorder

Samsung Voice Recorder is designed to provide you an easy and wonderful recording experience with high quality sound, while also offering playback.

For your everyday needs, we developed a “Speech to text” recording mode so that you can convert your voice to text (Speech to text).

Available recording modes are:

[STANDARD] It provides pleasantly simple recording interface.

[SPEECH TO TEXT] Records your voice and then convert it to on-screen text, so called STT.

Complication is available for Voice Recorder app.

Now access Voice Recorder tiles on your Galaxy Watch! Pair them with other tiles for quick access to all your favorite apps from the home screen.

* This is Samsung Galaxy Watch's Preloaded Application which is pre-installed app on Wear OS.

To use this app, the following permissions are required. You can use the basic features of the app without giving the optional permissions.

Required permissions

- Music and audio: Used to save recorded files.

- Microphone: Used for recording function.

Optional permissions:

- Location (Watch R or below): Used for Wi-Fi direct transfer

- Nearby devices (Watch T or above): Used for Wi-Fi direct transfer

- Notification: Used to notify you when recording and playback are being processed
