Saint Bartholomew Devotion

St. Bartholomew is one of the Apostles of Christ. The Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke mention him as one of the Twelve Apostles. He is also referred to in John’s Gospel as Nathaniel.

He is the patron saint of bookbinders, butchers, cobblers, cheese merchants, salt merchants, leather workers, nervous diseases, neurological diseases, plasterers, shoemakers, tanners, trappers, twitching, whiteners

Many miracles have been attributed to his intercession. He is also considered by many as an Apostle of Healing.
