Tourisme Rivière-du-Loup is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote tourism development in the RCM of Rivière-du-Loup. It provides marketing and promotional efforts for more than 230 members of the local tourist industry. In the “What to Do" section of the app, visitors can choose attractions, accommodations and restaurants, or design their own personalized tour. The app also offers tours of the city and surrounding countryside prepared by Tourisme Rivière-du-Loup, including driving, motorcycle and bicycle tours as well as walking tours of the shores of the St. Lawrence, old Rivière-du-Loup and the downtown area. Visitors can also use the app to share their own tours or to see other visitors’ “Top Choices.” The tours can be displayed in list mode or geo map mode, showing the location of the attraction closest to the starting point.
