Resist: App Blocker & Limits

Spend less time scrolling without deleting the apps you enjoy.

Resist is an Android app blocker and screen time tracker built for more intentional phone use. Choose distracting apps, set limits that fit your day, and add a calm pause between impulse and action.

BLOCK DISTRACTING APPS

Choose social media, video, games, shopping, or other installed apps you want to use less. Resist places a clear block screen over selected apps when a rule is active.

BUILD RULES AROUND YOUR HABITS

Create custom app-blocking rules using:

• Daily time limits for each app

• Limits on how many times an app can be opened

• Scheduled blocking for work, study, bedtime, or weekends

• Session limits followed by cooldown breaks

• Opening delays that interrupt automatic checking

• Temporary grace periods when you need extra access

PAUSE BEFORE YOU SCROLL

Instead of relying only on hard lockouts, Resist can add intentional friction. Use a breathing pause before unlocking an app, wait through an opening delay, or let a cooldown create space between sessions.

UNDERSTAND YOUR SCREEN TIME

See how your phone use changes across today, week, and month. Review:

• Total screen time

• Most-used apps

• App opens and sessions

• Hourly and daily usage patterns

• Limits and blocks

SET A DAILY PHONE LIMIT

Choose a daily screen time goal and follow progress throughout the day. Resist Pro adds Strict Mode, which can block nonessential apps after your daily limit is reached.

DESIGNED FOR ANDROID

Resist uses Android Usage Access to measure app activity and Display over other apps to show blocking and pause screens. Notification permission keeps protection status visible. These permissions support core blocking and tracking features.

Resist is made for students, professionals, creators, and anyone who wants to stop doomscrolling, reduce social media use, improve focus, or build healthier digital habits.

Choose your distractions. Set your rules. Get your time back.
