Rate My Round

A globally available golf app offering a rating on any given day for any round played whereby the player records their opinion of the condition of the course played.

Three elements are rated. Tees, Fairways & Greens.

Bunkers are not considered as not every player visits them during a round.

Each element is rated from 1-5.

1 = Poor, 2 = Fair, 3 = Good, 4 = Very Good, 5 = Excellent

The app is not to record your score it is to record your impression of course condition.

Each element is weighted to give a rating out of 1000. Only when all 3 elements achieve excellent ratings can the 1000 be achieved.

This rating will likely only be achieved by elite courses. Many good courses may rate poorly in the winter or maintenance periods. This is expected.

Courses may then be rated in local regions by month.

Initially Clubs may be reluctant, but RateMyRound will measure what their members and visitors really think. Allowing focus on the underachieving elements.
