QuickCab allows users to book taxis throughout Australia and New Zealand.
QuickCab is a component of the SmartMove dispatching system. It allows users to book taxis from fixed locations such as doctors surgeries, hotels, and pubs in areas serviced by taxis and hire cars using SmartMove. These are throughout Australia and New Zealand.
QuickCab must be configured with a location number which identifies the location of the unit. This location number is obtained using the Manage Booking Locations section of the SmartMove fleet management website - http://www.smartmovetaxis.com
When using QuickCab a name, phone number, driver note may be supplied and a vehicle type can be specified. However the pick-up location is fixed and the booking is always for a vehicle as soon as possible. It is not possible to pre-book a vehicle for a time in the future using QuickCab.
