PortalGuard Mobile Self-service Password Reset is designed to allow you to easily reset your Active Directory password. Once the user is enrolled, PortalGuard generates a Time-based One-time Passcode (TOTP) to be used as a secure authentication method for resetting the user's password in a single step. PortalGuard Mobile can be dual purposed to generate a TOTP for multi-factor authentication logins.
In addition, PortalGuard Mobile Self-service Password Reset provides a method to generate passwords that a user can more easily remember rather than providing a completely random generated password. It works by asking a series of personal questions during the enrollment phase. The user's answers are used to construct a familiar user password.
