This is the shantytown on the high ridges that refugees lived in during the Korean War of 1950 with the repatriated brothers after the liberation in 1945.

It is a historical place which was created naturally without prior planning from the development of the hillside in the 1960, housing construction in 1970’s to 1980’s, and deteriorated houses.

This is how the road was formed naturally in the middle of the mountains.

This was the beginning of the Mountainside Road and Mountainside village.

1945년 해방 이후의 귀환동포들과 1950년 한국전쟁 시 피난민들이 살기 시작한 높다란 산등성의 판자촌 마을, 1960년 고지대 개발 및 1970~80년 주택건설 및 불량주택 기량으로 무계획적으로 형성된 시민들의 보금자리.

그렇게 자연스레 산 중턱에 길이 만들어졌습니다.

산복도로의 시작이자 마을의 시작이었습니다.
