ARK-launcher

ARK-launcher is a modern, lightweight Android home-screen launcher built entirely with Jetpack Compose and Material 3. It is bilingual (Finnish and English) and works as a standalone launcher for anyone.

Features:

* Paged home screen with free icon placement and smooth drag-and-drop — move icons within a page, across pages, and between the home grid and the dock.

* Dock of favourite apps.

* App drawer with universal search: apps, system settings pages, contacts (opt-in), and a calculator / unit converter, plus an optional most-used apps row.

* Home-screen widgets — add, resize, move, reconfigure, and stretch a widget to full width. Collection widgets (chat lists, calendars) scroll in place.

* Built-in widgets: clock/calendar/weather smartspace, battery ring, and a notifications widget.

* Folders on the home screen and inside the app drawer.

* Third-party icon packs (ADW/Nova appfilter format) and Material You themed icons.

* Configurable gestures: swipe up for the app drawer, swipe down for notifications, and a configurable left-edge swipe.

* Notification dots / badges, and an optional themed status bar.

* Backup and restore your layout to a file, plus optional Google Drive auto-backup. Widgets are included in backups.

* Lock desktop, hide apps, rename apps with custom labels, and a self-contained settings screen.
