GeoJoystick is an open-source mock-location utility for Android developer and emulator testing.
Set a simulated location using manual coordinates, choose a point with the OpenStreetMap-based map picker, or import coordinates from supported map links. Once started, the floating joystick overlay lets you move the simulated location without constantly switching back to the main app.
Features include:
• Floating joystick with compact and expanded modes
• Walking, running, cycling, and custom movement speeds
• Manual latitude, longitude, and altitude entry
• OpenStreetMap-based location picker
• Coordinate import from supported map links
• Favorite locations for quick reuse
• Optional restore-last-position behavior
• Adjustable overlay size and opacity
• Light, Dark, and System themes
• English and German interface
• Improved large-text, accessibility, and touch-target support
• Android 16 / API 36 support
GeoJoystick uses Android's standard mock-location provider system. You select GeoJoystick manually as the mock-location app in Android Developer Options. It does not include anti-detection, concealment, integrity bypasses, or non-standard location injection.
Privacy is kept simple: there are no accounts, ads, subscriptions, analytics, tracking, billing, or built-in updater. Saved coordinates, favorites, and settings remain on your device. Network access is only needed for optional features such as loading OpenStreetMap tiles or resolving supported map links.
GeoJoystick is free and open source under the GPL-3.0-only license.
