Open Learning allows anyone to acquire knowledge on a wide variety of subjects by bridging the digital divide using smartphone technology!

Welcome to the Open Learning App Education Platform - a private sector global public education initiative at the intersection of science, spirituality and secularism where everyone can learn everything about anything that is conducive to the spiritual good and material welfare of human society!

The Open Learning Platform is showcasing traditional indigenous knowledge systems with a special focus on the social sciences in the fields of philosophy, sociology, economics and governance - some of which date back millions of years to oral traditions from our original human culture!

We will begin our journey through our common human culture beginning with the oldest Earth-base human culture found in SE Asia, whose root mother language is Sanskrit.

Then one-by-one, we will document the evolution of human culture on Earth through the various changes that have developed through time to the present day in various regions.

We will be stopping along the way to review what we have lost, what we have gained, what we have forgotten and what we can benefit from today!

First Open Learning Module - Open Gurukula

Our first Open Learning Module, based on the traditional social sciences of SE Asia’s ancient Sanskrit culture, will focus on the Sanskrit philosophical, sociological, economics and governance sciences known as the Four Vidyas.

The method by which this culture of knowledge was disseminated was through disciplic succession from guru (teacher) to shisya (student), and the place of learning was known as a Gurukula (literally: teacher’s home), the equivalent of a modern day university where everything under the sun was taught.

In the spirit of the tradition of this first major area of study we have aptly named this first module “Open Gurukula”.
