Access to your most frequently used display settings from every app -- with only one click!
Supported settings: ++ set preferred orientation to portrait ++ set preferred orientation to landscape ++ set auto-rotate screen on/off ++ set display timeout to sleep after 30 min ++ set display timeout back (e.g., to 30 sec)
Have you ever been annoyed that your display rotates abruptly while texting? Have you ever been annoyed that your display falls asleep while reading? Or did it bother you that you cannot lock your display to landscape mode? Try this utility as a solution to these problems. One-Click Display Settings gives you the most flexibility to adjust your settings inside all apps, like your gallery, web browser, messaging app or ebook reader.
One-Click Display Settings can easily be accessed from a toolbar inside your status bar. This toolbar saves you 5 clicks when changing your screen orientation: Click once instead of "menu > settings > display > toggle auto-rotate > go back to settings > go back to your app". Likewise, it saves you five clicks when changing your display timeout.
(a) Supports autoboot. Once you enable One-Click Display Settings, it starts automatically upon boot.
(b) It does not force other apps to use portrait or landscape mode, but sets the "preferred orientation" for your apps. If an app is not designed to be compatible with portrait or landscape mode, it is not forced to switch into that mode.
(c) Requires only permissions for RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED and WRITE_SETTINGS. No permissions for network access, phone status or contact lists are required. NO ADVERTISEMENT.
