Vaagdevi Degree and P.G. College, Hanamkonda (Sponsored by Viswambhara Educational Society) was established in 1993. It is affiliated to Kakatiya University, Warangal. It is a Co-educational institution located in Kishanpura, the heart of the tricities of Warangal, Hanamkonda and Kazipet. The college is run under the judicious guidance and stewardship of eminent educationists to cater the professional needs of the students pursuing higher education. It offers restructured and job-oriented courses.

Right from the inception of the college in 1993, it has been our endeavor to maintain high standards of discipline and achieve academic excellence. By introducing professional courses like Engineering, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and also P.G. Courses in M.B.A., M.C.A., M.S.C. (Comp.Sc.), M.Sc.(IS), M.Sc.(Chemistry), M.Sc.(Maths), M.Sc. (Physics), M.Sc. (Microbiology) and M.Sc. (Zoology).
