MobiGrab

MobiGrab is an effort of a university group of four named as Android Knights having Saba Ghani( Group Lead), Faryal Parvez, Rahima Saleem & Tooba Riaz.

It is a mobile monitoring application that provides a complete security suite for android mobile phones. It holds user defined security actions which can range from ringing an alarm on receiving a key through SMS to automatically zip data in an alarming situation.

1. Setting Up Requirements

After successful installation, an application requires user to setup requirements which includes the following:

Alarm Key

Screen Lock Key

E-mail Address

Country Code

Recovery Number

Whitelist Number

Current Number

PIN code

Location through Map

User also need to activate the Device Administrator’s Permissions. The copy of all the requirements will send to user’s defined e-mail address.

2. Sign-In Application

The user needs to enter the PIN code to access the data of the application.

3. Ring Alarm

Whenever user send alarm key from any external mobile to his/her mobile, the profile of his/her mobile phone changes to general and mobile starts ringing.

Whenever user send screen lock key from any external mobile to his/her mobile, the mobile screen get locked.

4.Track Location

When user’s mobile phone is going to shut down forcefully or in case of battery dead, the current location of mobile phone will send to user through e-mail and SMS on recovery number.

5.Camera Trap

On three wrong attempts of password, the system camera will capture the picture of that person. The picture and current location of mobile phone will be sent to the user through e-mail. The location of user will also sent to user through SMS on recovery number.

6.SIM Monitoring

When user inserts the SIM card into the mobile and any unauthorized number recognized, the SIM information and the current location of the mobile will send to the user through e-mail and SMS on recovery number.

7.Backup Data

When user inserts the SIM card into the mobile and any unauthorized number will be recognized, the application zip the mobile data and send it to user through e-mail.
