Metaldate

Somewhere beyond the noise, there may be someone listening to the same darkness.

metaldate is a free dating and social discovery app made for the metal community — a place to find kindred souls nearby, speak without pretense, and perhaps discover something worth staying for.

For those who live through heavy music

Death metal, black metal, doom, thrash, heavy metal and everything between — metaldate is built for people whose music is more than background noise. Find others nearby who understand the sound, the culture, and the world around it.

Discover people near you

Browse members by city and distance. See their photos, profiles, interests, and what they are looking for before you decide to reach out. Search and filters help you find the people who feel closest to your world.

See who is around

Open the map and find members nearby. Sometimes distance is only a number.

Yes / No / Maybe

When words come too soon, begin with a feeling. Mark a profile Yes, No, or Maybe and be notified when interest is mutual. A match can be the first small sign that two paths are crossing.

Keep the ones you remember

Add profiles to your Favorites and return to them whenever you wish.

Private conversations

Talk one on one, away from the crowd. Send messages, photos, videos, audio messages, and files directly to another member.

Voice and video calls

When text is no longer enough, continue with built-in voice or video calling without leaving the app.

Verified profiles

Members can complete face liveness verification and display a verification badge, helping give you more confidence that the person behind the profile is real.

Look before you enter

You can browse and see who is around without creating an account. If you find a reason to stay, create your profile when you are ready.

Your boundaries matter

Block or report another member directly from their profile whenever needed.

Free to use

Browsing, matching, and messaging are free. Optional premium membership is available for enhanced limits and features.

Metal has always found beauty in sorrow, strength in solitude, and connection in the places others overlook.

Maybe someone is waiting there too.
