Do you, like me, have trouble with package inserts for medicines?

The text is often very small, despite the amount of paper, and the information is extensive.

If you look for, for example, side effects (which I usually do), it can be difficult to find.

Medkompis offers an effective alternative to this for a small amount of money.

Use:

- Start Medkompis.

- Read the EAN code on the packaging or can. Alternatively, speak or type the name of your medication and look up your variant in the list.

- Fellow friend looks up exactly which medicine it is.

- Click on "Look up article on FASS".

- On the FASS website, you can click through to the information you need.

Features:

Entered medications are stored in a list, which you can easily click on to read the package insert again.

If necessary, it can speak what has been entered and also the entire list.

You can also share the information with others, such as your doctor.

Medkompis has support for Swedish and English.

Medkompis provides essential and immediate information from well-known Swedish medical information services, as support in customer and patient dialogue within pharmacies, hospitals, care centers and home care, but also for the care recipient and relatives.

VARA is used for looking up medicines and merchandise via barcode or free text search.

FASS provides detailed information on medicines for the general public, healthcare professionals and veterinarians.

1177 provides information on i.a. anatomy, diseases and symptoms via free text search.

Google search can be activated for general information.

Free text search can be done by typing or speaking search terms.

The app also supports QR codes for additional product information and offers.

Product information can be saved to a list e.g. price and dosage. The list also functions as a memo list that can be dictated. Individual articles can be clearly marked and erased. The list can also be erased in its entirety, and can be shared via the phone's functions.

A number of setting options allow the app to be adapted to specific needs.

Everything is gathered in the same view for quick access to relevant information.

Texts are displayed in Swedish or English, depending on the phone's settings.

Internet connection is needed for all "search" and "lookup" functions, but the list is stored locally in the phone, and is thus protected.
