Lux Meter Lite

Lux Meter Lite is a clean, modern light meter for quick everyday checks. Open the app to see the illuminance measured by your device's light sensor in lux, with the same value in foot-candles and an exposure value at ISO 100 for setting a camera by hand.

Every reading is named and put in context: whether it is dim, ordinary indoor light or in the range usually recommended for reading and desk work, with an everyday comparison so the number means something.

The recent readings are drawn as a chart, and the session keeps the smallest, largest and average value. Lock the reading to keep it while you move the phone, and reset the statistics when you start a new spot.

Light sensor readings are processed only on your device while the app is open. Nothing is recorded, saved or uploaded, and the app requests no permissions at all.

Results are indicative. Phone light sensors are uncalibrated and vary widely between models, and the reading depends on how the phone is held. Do not use it for workplace lighting compliance, safety assessments or any other setting where a certified light meter is required.
