Lila: Cute Notes & Diary

Lila is a notes app that feels like yours.

Soft colours, watercolour flowers and beautiful handwriting fonts. A place to keep your thoughts, your lists, your plans and the things you do not want to lose.

EVERYTHING IS FREE. ALL OF IT. FOREVER.

Every theme, every colour, every font, every sticker. No premium tier. No weekly subscription. No limit on how many notes you can write. We are not going to show you something lovely and then ask you to pay for it.

NO ADS WHILE YOU WRITE

You will never lose your place to a full-screen ad, and you will never see one for choosing a colour.

NOTHING EVER LEAVES YOUR PHONE

No account. No sign-up. No cloud. No upload. Your diary is on your device and nowhere else, and Lila works perfectly with no internet at all.

WHAT IS INSIDE

Write it your way

Six handwriting and soft fonts, eight ink colours, six paper colours, and six paper patterns including dots, grid, lines, hearts and stars. Bold, italic, underline, strikethrough and a pastel highlighter.

Stickers and dividers

Thirty-six little stamps and a set of decorative dividers, to make a page yours.

A private diary

A passcode lock with fingerprint unlock, and a recovery question so you can never be locked out of your own writing.

Keep it all in order

Categories you can name, colour and give an icon. Tags, favourites, pins, and a search that looks inside your notes and not just their titles.

Lists and checkboxes

Bulleted lists, numbered lists and checklists live inside any note, because that is how people actually write.

A soft dark mode

For writing at night, in a palette designed for a candle-lit room rather than a screen.

Your journey

Your streak, your words and your month. Shown when you look for it, never as a notification telling you off.

Share a note as a picture

Turn any note into something worth posting, sized for a story, a post or a pin. No watermark scrawled across your writing.

Nothing is ever really lost

Lila saves as you type, keeps deleted notes for 30 days, and can write a backup file that you keep yourself.

MADE FOR THE WAY YOU ACTUALLY WRITE

Whether it is a gratitude journal, a brain dump at midnight, a packing list, a book you want to remember, or one line you do not want to forget.

PRIVACY

Lila collects nothing. No account, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no data of any kind leaves your device. It asks for no permissions beyond opening your photos, and only when you choose a profile picture.

Because nothing is stored anywhere but your phone, keep a backup. Settings has Backup and Restore, and the file is yours.

Free, private and quiet. That is the whole app.
