LibreJournal

LibreJournal is the mobile app for the website LibreJournal.fr.

LibreJournal is an independent opinion media outlet, a constantly updated digital daily.

Its motto: "You can be left-wing and have a good right-wing perspective."

In the tradition of the Enlightenment, of Jaurès, Blum, and Mendès-France, LibreJournal intends to lead the fight for a social, rational, and engaged left that refuses to be caught in the ideological vise between the far right and the far left and rejects the chaos of public discourse that stifles any real debate.

We hold what is considered moderate views, but strong convictions on social inequality, the economy, the ecological transition, immigration, identity, the nation and Europe, justice, and the rights of minorities and women. And we believe in freedom, democracy, and progress.

This is what we want to say, forcefully, through reason, debate, and humor. LibreJournal never sneers; it might be provocative, but always with solid arguments.

The app reflects its image: a simple, user-friendly interface that lets you navigate between different sections and share our articles with friends or on social media. LibreJournal is a free app, with no password, no forms to fill out, and no ads.

Around fifteen sections, written by professional journalists, offer news, analysis, rants and raves, and insights into life here and around the world. You won't find everything, but you'll get the essentials, the extras, the content you won't read anywhere else.
