Lanterna: Lighthouse Lights

Lanterna helps you learn and recognize IALA light characteristics through animated navigational light patterns and practical training modes.

Instead of memorizing abbreviations, you see how navigational lights actually appear at sea and learn to distinguish fixed, flashing, occulting, quick, scintillating, and Morse code lights by recognition.

The app combines real-world seamanship with navigation exam preparation.

Features:

- animated lighthouse and beacon light patterns

- international IALA notation including Fl, Oc, Iso, Q, VQ, and Mo

- optional German navigation exam terminology

- chart and context mode for practical understanding

- quiz and training modes for reliable recognition

- realistic timing and light sequences

Designed for students and sailors preparing for SBF See, SKS, SRC, coastal navigation, and other maritime navigation exams.

Learn to recognize navigational lights, not just decode abbreviations.
