CHECK COMPATIBILITY

Requires Android 10 or later. Your phone and receiver must be on the same local Wi-Fi network. HomePod 2 has been tested; support for other AirPlay receivers depends on their model and protocol. Being discovered on Wi-Fi does not guarantee that a receiver can connect or play audio.

Compatible AirPlay 1 / RAOP receivers can work; AirPlay 1 alone is not a limitation. Mac receiver compatibility is unverified; you can try connecting, but pairing or receiver access settings may prevent streaming. Receivers that require FairPlay-only authentication (including the tested AirScreen setup) are not currently supported. Support for other receivers is not guaranteed.

Some Android apps prevent audio capture, so their sound cannot be streamed. Test the audio apps and speaker you plan to use before purchasing the unlock.

AUDIO CAPTURE AND VOLUME BUTTONS

Android asks for screen-capture permission to capture playback audio. Bridge Audio streams audio only; it does not capture or send your screen image. Apps that block playback capture cannot be streamed.

Volume buttons work while Bridge Audio is open. Background and lock-screen volume routing depends on Android and the active media app. No Accessibility service is required.
