App for remote PLC over 3G with historical and alarms
Kerbero is an app for remote handling and industrial PLC's Modbus protocol.
The application communicates with the PLC through
IP and allows reading and writing of variables in the PLC.
Kerbero also added services:
- Maintenance and management of historic
- Alarms
- Presentation of all that data to a remote client over 3G (App client is a different app: Kerbero client).
VPN need not.
A Kerbero server collects data from PLCs at the same time with a relatively high frequency, using the Modbus protocol and stores the status of all PLC.
Send the client state changes or alarms only when they occur so greatly reduces the traffic on the 3G network.
The application has a simple interface ideal for mobile devices. Designed to suit any industrial process based on simple buttons, text and graphics.
