Kehrichtbeseitigung Laufental-Schwarzbubenland AG (KELSAG), a waste management company, organizes the collection, transport, and disposal of municipal waste from more than 50,000 residents on behalf of its 33 shareholder municipalities in the districts of Laufental (BL), Dorneck (SO), Thierstein (SO), and parts of the Canton of Jura. KELSAG also ensures the proper aftercare of the "Hinterm Chestel" nuclear waste repository in Liesberg.
