The Jefferson Teamwork Observation Guide (JTOG) app provides 360 degree assessment of collaborative practice behaviors, supporting practice-based quality improvement initiatives and team-based educational training in healthcare. The app is easy-to-use across healthcare settings, with sufficient reliability and validity to assess the behavior of educational and practice teams as well as individual team members. The tool allows users to collect data and generate reports from patients, family members, providers, and learners to help care teams receive real-time actionable feedback and improve team functioning. Team performance can be analyzed over time and in various settings. Data generated from the app will enable ongoing development of national benchmarks for team-based collaborative practice.
