AGREEMENT

All the individual beneficiaries under the scheme approved by the TSCCDC LIMITED, HYDERABAD.

Insurance policy provided by the NEW INDIA ASSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED, L.B. NAGAR, HYDERABAD. All the terms and conditions scope of cover, exclusions as per MOU between NEW INDIA ASSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED, L.B. NAGAR HYDERABAD and TSCCDC LIMITED, HYDERABAD.

SCOPE OF COVER

Indemnity against death of milch animal due to accident Including Accident, Fire, Lightning, Flood, Cyclone, Famine, Earthquake, landslide and all other natural calamities, Strike, Riot or diseases, Surgical Operations contracted or occurring during the period of insurance.

Transit Risk from the place of grounding to the beneficiary place is covered (Anywhere in India to anywhere in the state of Telangana).

Claim arising due to diseases contracted within 15 days from the date of risk is not covered.

PERIOD OF AGREEMENT:

This agreement will be valid for a period of One Year only. All the animals insured during the currency of the Agreement Period will have a policy period of one year from the date of grounding, irrespective of period of agreement.

EXCLUSIONS:

Malicious or willful injury or neglect, overloading, unskillful treatment or use of animal.

Intentional slaughter of the animal.

Theft and clandestine sale of the insured animal.

War, invasion, act of foreign enemy, civil war etc.

Any accident, loss destruction, damage or legal liability directly or indirectly caused by or contributed to by or arising from nuclear weapons.

Consequential loss of whatsoever nature. No Tag No Claim

RELAXATION TO ‘NO TAG NO CLAIM:

NO TAG NO CLAIM is applicable to all the claims. However, in case of Natural Calamities (AOG Perils), Wild Animal Attacks, Accidents like Fire Accidents, Road Accidents where the carcasses cannot be recovered certificate from the local authorities like MRO/Police need to be submitted and No Tag No Claim is not applicable in such cases as the tags cannot be recovered. If Carcass is recovered and the Tag is not available, each such claim will be decided on its merits by the NIACL.

LOSS OF EAR TAG:

In case of loss of ear tag for any reason, immediate information is to be given to VAS and also to NEW INDIA ASSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED, L.B. NAGAR by way of email and what’s up message and SMS, and compulsory a phone call to insurance company with old Tag details and insurance company will provide New Tag for Retagging and after retagging beneficiary must provide showing milch animals head from close up showing the tag with tag number clearly visible, which shall be sent to NIACL to pass necessary Endorsements. In case of re-tagging, if any claim is reported without the intimation to the insurance company, such claims are not payable. If a claim is reported after intimating about the loss of Tag to the VAS and before claim reporting to the insurance company by VAS, such claims will be considered as per merits of each claim.

ENDORSEMENT:

In case of wrong entries of tag number or beneficiary details on the policy, if the information is given to the insurance company prior to the reporting of claims, such claims are payable. However, hard/scanned copies available with the insurance company will be examined and each claim will be considered on its merits. In case of intimation of such errors in normal course, suitable endorsements will be passed to rectify the mistakes.
