Welcome to Corbetts - An American Place. Located in the historic Von Allman dairy farm home, this grand old house dates back 150 years and has been lovingly restored to its original splendor.

A full-service, fine dining establishment, Corbett's proudly serves progressive New American Cuisine paired with an award-winning wine list. At Corbett's, our goal is simple - to transform our patrons to a higher level of culinary experience. To indulge our diners, multiple comfort amenities exist. We invite you to explore our many venues, including an interactive Chef's Tasting Room, private rooms accommodating 8-24 guests, and the wine cellar - a solid limestone and brick basement for noshing and wine tasting. Or enjoy a beautiful evening dining on our elegant front porch. After its establishment in 2007 it quickly became an award winning Louisville favorite. In 2008, Corbett's was named as one of Esquire Magazine's Best New Restaurants” and in 2011, Corbett's was named as one of the Top 100 Restaurants in America by Open Table readers. Additional accolades include a four-star rating from Louisville's Courier-Journal newspaper, Best of Louisville Award for Best New Restaurant 2008, Top Table in Town by Leo Magazine 2009, AAA Diamond Award 2008-2011, and Wine Spectator Award of Excellence 2008-2011.

Owner Chef Dean Corbett is often called the Dean of Louisville's restaurant scene. Over the last 30 years, Corbett has built a stellar reputation in the Louisville community as not only a chef and proprietor, but also a beloved humanitarian, entertainer and family man. He owns two popular, award-winning restaurants in Louisville: Equus & Jacks Lounge and Corbett's: an American place. Chef Corbett’s many accolades include being inducted into the Honorable Order of the Golden Toque, the highest recognition a chef can receive in the U.S., and has had the honor of cooking at the James Beard House on three occasions. He also was recently awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Kentucky Restaurant Association. When not hard at work Chef Corbett enjoys spending time with his wife and their three sons.
