This package adds functionality of an ISATAP client (Intra-Site Automatic Tunnel Addressing Protocol). It bundles the isatapd client daemon and provides a frontend to establish an IPv6 over IPv4 tunnel according to RFC 5214 (ISATAP).
ISATAP is a IPv6 in IPv4 tunnel mechanism that allows clients to get a global routeable IPv6 address over an IPv4 only network. The isatapd tool for Linux helps with the automatic configuration of the tunnel and the client endpoint and is shipped in this app and run as root.
If a ISATAP router is present or configured, an IPv6 tunnel should automatically be established. The connection will be reconfigured on boot and when a connectivity change is detected.
REQUIRES A ROOTED DEVICE! This is very beta, please submit error reports or other suggestions. If you don't know what this is about, it is probably not for you.
