About Hide Navigation Bar

Toggle navigation bar visibility & enable immersive mode with ease.

NavBar Toggler is a simple yet powerful app that allows you to easily toggle your device's navigation bar visibility and enable immersive mode. With a straightforward interface, this app helps you make the most of your screen real estate by hiding the navigation bar when it's not needed.

Please note that the app will not work on Android 11> due to the Google removed the ability for apps to manipulate immersive mode. Further information is provided here: https://bit.ly/3z62OBn

Key features:

* Hide or show the navigation and notification bars with just one tap

* Enable immersive mode to enjoy a full-screen experience

* Conveniently access the app's actions from the notification bar

How to use the app:

After installing Hide Navigation Bar, open the app and follow the on-screen instructions. If the app requires the WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS permission, you'll see an alert with the necessary steps.

To grant the WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS permission, please follow these steps:

1. Enable Developer Options on your device: Go to Settings > About phone > Tap on Build number 7 times.

2. Install ADB (Android Debug Bridge) on your computer: Follow the official guide at https://developer.android.com/studio/command-line/adb

3. Connect your Android device to your computer via USB cable and enable USB debugging: Go to Settings > Developer options > Toggle on USB debugging.

4. Open a terminal or command prompt on your computer, and run the following command:

adb shell pm grant com.navbartoggler android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS

5. Restart the app.

Note: Granting WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS permission does not require root access. However, please be cautious when using ADB commands, as they can have unintended consequences if misused. Always follow trusted guides and double-check your commands before executing them.

Once the permission is granted, Hide Notification Bar will create a persistent (util you press "Exit" button) notification with three buttons: "NAV", "ALL" and "EXIT." Tapping "NAV" will hide or show the navigation bar, "ALL" is for hiding or showing both navigation and notification bars, while "EXIT" will remove the notification and close the app.

Enjoy an unobstructed, immersive experience on your Android device with NavBar Toggler!
