How well do you hear? Find out in a couple of quiet minutes.
Hearing Self-Check plays soft pure tones at different pitches, one ear at a time, and maps what you can hear onto a personal left/right audiogram. It's a simple, private way to keep an eye on your hearing between real check-ups.
WHAT IT DOES
• Pure-tone check across 8 pitches (250–8000 Hz), right and left ear separately
• History of your last 30 checks — each new audiogram overlays the previous one as a faded line, so changes stand out
• Add a note to any check (after a concert, a cold, new earbuds)
• Share a check's summary and values with family or your doctor
• Home-screen widget: see when you last checked and start a new check in one tap
• Back up your history to a file and restore it on a new phone
• Practice tone to set a comfortable volume before you start, plus a built-in how-to guide
• Pulsed tones — easier to notice than a steady beep
• Tinnitus mode: a gently wobbling (warble) tone, so you can tell the test sound apart from the ringing
• Fully offline — the test runs on your device and your results are never uploaded
• Auto-advances if you don't answer, so the test never gets stuck — and Undo takes back a mis-tap
• Ear Age Test (just for fun): how high a pitch can you still hear? Share your ear age as an image card
• Available in 15 languages
WHO IT'S FOR
• Anyone curious about their hearing
• People who work around loud noise or use earbuds a lot
• People with tinnitus who want a test tone that stands out from the ringing
