GPS Field Camera: Map Stamp

GPS Map Camera stamps every photo and video you shoot with the street address, GPS coordinates, the date and time, and a mini map of the exact spot. A shot from a job site stops being just an image and becomes a record.

WHAT GOES ON THE SHOT

The map stamp is drawn into the image itself, so it survives sharing, compression and re-upload. Drag it anywhere on the frame before you shoot.

GEOTAG VIDEO, NOT JUST PHOTOS

Record video and the stamp is written into the finished file, so the location travels with the footage wherever you send it. Front and back camera both supported. Most timestamp camera apps stop at stills; this one does not.

YOUR NOTE, YOUR STYLE

Add your own text to any shot: nine fonts, bold, italic, underline and strikethrough, your choice of text and background colour, and left, centre or right alignment.

SEE YOUR WORK ON A MAP

Everything you capture is plotted on an interactive map and clustered by area. Tap a cluster to open every photo and video you shot on that job site. It is a visual site log that builds itself, with no filing and no folders.

SAVED LOCATIONS

Drop a pin, name it, and give it a radius from 10 m to 1000 m. The app then tells you when you are inside it. Handy for recurring job sites, delivery zones and inspection rounds.

CAMERA CONTROLS

Photo, video and quick modes. Full, 1:1, 9:16 and 3:4 ratios. Flash on, off or auto. A 3 or 5 second timer. A 3x3 or 4x4 grid. Pinch zoom, tap to focus, volume key shutter, and a level indicator so your field report photos sit straight.

GOOD TO KNOW

The address lookup and the mini map need a network connection. Without one, GPS Map Camera falls back to your last known coordinates and the map area is left blank. Location permission is required for the stamp to work at all. Camera and microphone permissions are used only for capture.

GPS Map Camera is a GPS camera, a timestamp camera and a geotag camera in one app, for job site work that has to be documented. Note that stamps are drawn onto the picture; the app does not alter the file's own EXIF metadata.
