G Navigation

G Navigation helps you find your way on your phone and view directions on your compatible watch. Prepare your route before you start and only operate when you've stopped in a safe place.

WEAR OS APP

• Install G Navigation on both your Android phone and your paired Wear OS watch. The watch app needs to be connected to your phone; it doesn't operate as a standalone route.

• View maps, turn directions, distances, and remaining time from your phone's navigation session.

• Receive app call information; controls are only available if your phone supports them. G Navigation does not transmit call audio through the watch app.

• Set up routes, permissions, and accounts on your phone; the watch interface uses a black background in addition to the map.

FINDING ROUTES ON YOUR PHONE

• Find locations by name, address, or select on the map.

• Create routes for cars, motorcycles, bikes, or walking.

• View route, estimated time, and turn-off list before you go.

• Light/dark interface, supports Vietnamese, English, and Chinese.

WATCH DIRECTIONS

• View turn-off, distance, and route information on supported watches.

• Connect compatible Huawei, Xiaomi/Redmi Vela, and Amazfit Zepp OS models; see list in the app.

• Receive Google Maps directions when you actively grant notification access.

• Maintain navigation sessions when the phone screen is off, with notifications indicating the active session. Background operation and resumption depend on the device, Bluetooth, and battery saving settings.

APP CALLS

• Option to display calls and caller names from Zalo, Telegram, or Viber on compatible watches.

• Listen, reject, or end calls when your phone, watch, and app call support are available. Names, controls, and sounds are not uniformly supported across all devices.

• Notification access must be enabled and permission granted. The Contacts permission is optional for creating temporary contacts to support name lookup; app-created contacts are cleaned up after the call. This feature can be disabled in Settings.

SETUP

• Install the appropriate companion app: Huawei Health, Mi Fitness, or Zepp, along with G Navigation on your supported watch.

• Pair and select your watch in the app.

• Review the explanation of each permission and decide whether to grant it: location for navigation, Bluetooth for connectivity, notifications for session status. Additional permissions are introduced by feature.

• An internet connection is required to download maps, find locations, and calculate routes.

PREMIUM

• Some navigation, watch sync, app call, and caller ID features require Premium functionality.

• Trials are available for eligible accounts and devices.

• Premium is a one-time purchase via Google Play, not a monthly subscription. See pricing and unlocked content in the app before purchasing.

• Log in with the correct account and use the transaction recovery feature to restore access.

PRIVACY

• No ads, no sale of user data.

• The app and providers process data necessary for maps, navigation, connectivity, accounts, and Premium verification; the map SDK may handle operational data.

• Chat content and call audio are not recorded by G Navigation. Call names and status are sent to the companion system/app and watch when you enable the feature.

• See the data policy, retention periods, and how to request deletion in the app. You can revoke consent, delete local data, and delete your account in Settings.
