EzEnglish word games (Hi)

Download the EdZilla’s EzEnglish suite of games today if you wish to refine your pronunciation, spelling and understanding of English words. This is a three-in-one game comprising Spelling Bee, Hindi-to-English translation and Word search games. It is an intelligent app which starts you off with simple words and challenges you with more complex words as you score higher and higher.

Here is how to play each game.

Spelling Bee

• Listen to the word, spell it and score

• Can’t make out the word the first time? Touch the speaker and listen to the pronunciation as many times as you wish. Then spell it and score.

• Still can’t get the word? Try guessing and entering the letters. If there are mistakes, the app will show you the meaning in Hindi. Now spell the word and score. You’ll only need such help until your ears get used to listening to the words.

• You know the word but are confused about the spelling? Let the app hold your hand and correct your spelling as you enter the letters. You still score for all the letters that you get right.

Kannada-to-English

• Look at the Hindi meaning of the word.

• Recall the English word, spell it and score

• You know multiple words for the same meaning? Try the first one that comes to your mind. If the entered letter is wrong, the app corrects that letter. You can enter the rest of the letters and score

• You know the word but are confused about the spelling? Let the app hold your hand and correct your spelling as you enter the letters. You still score for all the letters that you get right.

Word search

• A long English word is given in which a shorter word is hidden.

• Meaning for that shorter word is also given above.

• Now find that shorter word hidden in that long word by touching the correct letters.

• You score a point if you successfully find the word.

• Note down the meaning of the long word given below it and enrich your vocabulary.

Scores

The score button shows the total score and when you touch it you can see the score for each game. You may long touch the score button any time to reset the scores and start over.
