Download the EdZilla’s EzEnglish suite of games today if you wish to refine your pronunciation, spelling and understanding of English words.

This is a five-in-one game comprising Spelling Bee, Indic-to-English translation, Word search, Word diction and Basic grammar games. The app starts you off with simple words and challenges you with more complex words as your score increases.

Here is how to play each game.

1) Spelling Bee

• Touch the speaker, listen to the pronunciation of the word as many times as you want, spell it and score.

• Still can’t get the word? Try guessing and entering the letters. If there are mistakes, the app will show you the Kannada meaning. Now spell the word and score.

• You know the word but are confused about the spelling? Start entering the letters. The app will correct your mistakes. You still score for all the letters that you get right.

2) Kannada-to-English

• Look at the Kannada meaning of the word

• Recall the English word, spell it and score.

• You know multiple words for the same meaning? Try typing one of them. If it is wrong, the app shows the first letter of the right word.

• You know the word but are confused about the spelling? Start entering the letters. The app will correct your mistakes. You still score for all the letters that you get right.

3) Word search

• A long English word is given in which a shorter word is hidden

• Meaning for the shorter word is also given.

• Find the shorter word by touching the correct letters in the long word and score.

• Add the long word and its meaning to your vocabulary

4) Word diction

• Read the Kannada meaning

• Listen to the pronunciation of the words

• Select the correct English word with the given meaning

5) Basic grammar

• Look at the given Kannada sentence

• Read the incomplete English sentence given

• Listen to the choices

• Select the right word to fill in the blank

Scores

The score button shows the total score. Touch it to see the score for each game. Long touch it to reset the scores and start over.
