🚗 Safe Driving Mode

Voice notifications are provided when approaching speed cameras (fixed, mobile, or zone), school zones, speed bumps, etc.

While Safe Driving Mode is active, GPS location is used to provide real-time notifications when approaching speed cameras, even when the screen is off or the app is in the background. Location data is used solely for speed camera notifications; it is not transmitted, stored, or sold externally, and all processing takes place exclusively within the device. Background location is disabled when Safe Driving Mode is not in use and can be turned off at any time within the app.

🔒 VPN Usage Guide (Mirroring Only)

To transmit mirrored video to the vehicle browser, an Android VPN (VpnService) is used solely for local loopback within the device. Internet traffic is not transmitted or collected externally, nor is it used for advertising, analytics, or sales; all processing takes place exclusively within the device. The VPN is disabled when mirroring is not in use and can be disabled at any time in Android Settings.

📡 Vehicle Telemetry

Using the official Tesla API, we query your vehicle's status (battery, charge, mileage; temperature, climate control; location, driving/charging history; doors, locks, etc.) and store this data exclusively within your account to provide features such as battery history, driving analysis, afterblow, and charging monitoring. We do not sell or share this data with third parties, and data collection stops when the link is disconnected.

[Accessibility Service Usage Guide]

EvTmate uses the Android Accessibility Service to integrate with Tesla Map App destinations.

• What: When you start navigation on Kakao Navi or Naver Maps, we only read the 'destination' on the screen and transmit it to your Tesla (since these two apps do not include destinations in their notifications, there is no other method other than Accessibility).

• When: We only check the destination and navigation status at the moment navigation starts; we do not read other screens or personal information.

• Consent/Disabling: Off by default. It only operates when turned on after consenting within the app, and you can turn it off at any time in the app or Android settings. • Data: Destinations and coordinates are temporarily stored on the device and automatically deleted; they are transmitted only to your Tesla and are not shared with third parties.
