Emergency Message

You can choose up to 3 contacts from your device's contacts list to send your emergency message to. If you choose to, you can add your GPS location and a google maps link with your position marked on it to your emergency message.

There are 6 predefined messages for different situations:

* If there's a fire

* If there's a burglar

* If you are being kidnapped

* If you had a traffic accident

* If you are hurt

* If you are lost

You can write your own emergency situation on a separete text field too.

For your location information to be added to the sms, you need to check the "Send my location" check box in the preferences.

You must also allow your device to "Use GPS satellites" from the "Location and security" preferences of your device.

Disclaimer: This application is presented as is, with no guarantee whatsoever. It will not work if you don't have reception or a good view of a clear sky. Reception is needed for the message to be sent and a clear sky view is needed for the GPS location. It is more likely to work if you are lost in a hiking trip than if you are kidnapped and being held hostage in a basement. You must make alternative communications arrangements to ensure that you can make emergency calls if needed. Please remember that Emergency Message by itself does not send any information to any type of hospitals, law enforcement agencies, medical care unit or any type of emergency services. It only contacts at most 3 people you choose from your contacts list.

Do not worry about your location and contact data being stolen. Your location is sent only to people you choose from your contacts list.

The application DOES NOT need android.permission.INTERNET which is required for an application to connect to the Internet. This app can not connect to the Internet and cause your data to be vulnerable.
