The Android app to use with the eChook Nano Telemetry Board
This app is designed to work with an eChook Nano Greenpower Telemetry setup - or any DIY solutions that are using our serial communication schema.
eChook Nano is an open-source standalone system capable of logging important telemetry data from a Greenpower racer. The device is designed to connect directly to various sensors to provide information about variables of interest such as battery voltage, current draw, motor RPM, vehicle speed.
The Companion app was developed as a display for the Nano system. The app connects to the Nano via Bluetooth - when the connection is established, the app will begin reporting and logging data immediately.
We recommend using the app in the vehicle as the Bluetooth range is limited. A common configuration would be to mount the device in front of the driver in a waterproof and shockproof case.
