An application to turn your device's screen off and lock screen without pressing power button. You can add this application to your home screen for easy access or set your launcher's gesture to Display Off application.

Fingerprint/Biometrics unlocking supported after turning off display.

This app uses the Device Administrator permission or Modify System Settings special access for turning screen off.

ANDROID 6 and UPPER VERSIONS

When Modify System Settings special access is enabled, app primarily uses it. No Administrator Privilage or any other settings needed. Fingerprint/biometrics unlock available but turning screen completely off takes a few seconds. If you want to turn your display off immediately, just disable Modify System Settings special access and enable Device Administrators permission. No any other switch or user interface needed by Display Off app.

ACTIVATING(WITH FINGERPRINT/BIOMETRICS SUPPORT)

Display Off application needs special access Modifying System Settings to turn your display off. Go to your device's Settings\Apps\Advanced\Special Access\Modify System Settings* menu to allow Modify System Settings access. (Android 6.0 and upper)

ACTIVATING(NO BIOMETRICS SUPPORT)

Display Off application needs administrator rights to turn your display off and lock your screen immediately. Go to your device's Settings\Security\Device Administrators* menu to activate Display Off application.

UNINSTALLING

To uninstall Display Off application you need to disable it from the Device Administrators menu. Go to your device's Settings\Security\Device Administrators menu and disable Display Off application. Then you can uninstall the application.
