DE Alarm

DE Alarm is the professional alerting app for authorities and organizations with security tasks. The app informs rescue workers about current operations by the associated control centers, i.e. it is a contemporary addition to pager alarms. The app has easy-to-use functions for an overview of the most important data of the mission, for quick preparation and for reporting back on participation in the mission. Registration in the app is only possible for employees of emergency organizations using a personal code and is one hundred percent data protection compliant.

Content of the reports: The alarms from the control centers are sent as push notifications to the smartphones of the registered rescue workers and contain textual and visual information as well as detailed information on the operation (e.g. address with map section, type and severity, persons involved, Point in time) and any other attachments (e.g. documents, photos, videos). Via a confirmation button, the app records for the operations control center whether an operation is accepted or rejected / canceled.

Registration: Registration is carried out using individual codes that are only issued by the emergency organizations. The registered profile data (surname, first name, assigned organization, etc.) are only saved locally on the individual device. The code can also be used to register other devices (e.g. replacement cell phones) or smartphones that have already been recorded using other codes (e.g. for people with tasks in several organizations). In addition, profiles of several people can be registered on one device (e.g. shared work cell phones of several people).

Individual settings: While profile data cannot be changed, there are setting options for alerting when the smartphone's tone is off (so-called critical alerting).

Data protection: Communication via the app is completely end-to-end encrypted, data protection (GDPR) compliant and ensures the identity of those involved in communication (rescue workers, control center) one hundred percent.

Technology: DE Alarm and the system behind the app is based on internationally proven technology from the Fraunhofer Society and is high-performance and scalable for any number of control centers and rescue workers.
